no, Touch is not pre rooted as many other Umi smartphone.
We need to use TWRP (when it will be available, i'm working on it.. still remain to fix touchscreen issue on Twrp) and/or the Carliv recovery you can find on needrom

The Umi Touch haven't been rooted, we haven't broken the permission of Android 6.0, we will try our best to realize it ASAP.

I recommend the TWRP + Super SU method. That's easier (in my opinion) and surely safer if you want to protect your phone against malwares.
