Stagefright fix for Emax?

Has anyone been able to patch Emax to protect against Stagefright 2.0?

Any idea if this does the trick:

You can protect your eMAX by disabling automatic downloads of MMS messages. IMHO the MMS service is an obsolete technology, that is not used anymore (I haven't received a single one for years) but by those few clicks you can completely protect your phone against such attacks, even if their possibility is just academic. This issue is more hype than real danger.

My understanding is that disabling MMS would only protect against Stagefright 1.0.
Stagefright 2.0 is the one that I am concerned about.

IMHO the chance to get infected via mp3 or mp4 files is almost theoretical. The possibility has been found but I've never heard about a single case when a smartphone accidentally infected.
eMAX won't get any new updates so I just can suggest you to not to visit unreliable web sites and don't use such unknown origin mp3 and mp4 files.
