It's not a new battery, it was available from the beginning.
It uses the same low quality cells as the one that comes with the phone, so no improvement, capacity is also not 2500 mAh but around 2100.
The "drain" that customers experience is a mix between a badly optimized Kernel (and governors) and a battery that has lower capacity than advertised.
I doubt that UMI developers will be able to optimize the OS in such a way that it's able to compensate for the weak battery...

ITs draining not only but also because you have a lot of apps running in background silent and heavy one .

Ok , download battery calibration. Full charge phone before go to bed sleep, then run app, click calibrate with phone charger conected, then disconect it, reboot .

Before all you need to install and program an app to block some other apps to run on start after reboot. And then ever you open you need to go Settings / apps . . click them and click force to close it.

You can also enter in Programmer mode( google it ) and choose option 4 process´s, or none . . if you dont need it at night . . . this will limit number of process open. I thins android 6.0 dont need this because it already do it.

ok in the morning the battery lasting predicition will be 9 days or more. . .

Hi.

I have a UMI Rome bought at 9 months ago, in recent times has given problems to battery level, don't  know what can be. Sometimes has 40% battery and turns off, place it on chage and gives the signal of such 40% battery. Sometimes battery reaches 15% with "Active Battery Saver" on and, turns off immediately. Other times when chaging in the car phone turns off !

What can it be and how to solve it?

Thanks.

my umi rome does de same, @Pilantra.
i have buy a new battery in allispress. when charges from 55% to 60% takes sooo long time, and suddenly from 60 to 100% in a second.
as fast charge from 60 to 100 drains from 35% to 1%.

my battery only has 6 monts, is a very very bad battery, cheap one, all in phone es cheapest in market, and battery optimitation in umi rome is worse than battery
