Hi, I love my Umidigi Bison X10 phone, BUT the fingerprint sensor has stopped working.
Can anyone advsie if this is software or hardware problem?

I experienced exactly the same as cemtech. Suddenly the fingerprint stop working and when I receive a call I need to put the loudspeaker first and then I can hear the person who call me. Another annoying thing is that the jack doesnt recognize any headphones. What can we de do ? Is it a software problem ?? Will they refund us or make an update ?

I've had my x10 for 2 months now and my fingerprint scanner quit working and then the option for it under security disappeared altogether. Also it has the dm verity corruption. Which so far is just annoying. And the battery meter reads 100% all the time until runs and dies without warning. At first I was like wow this is a good battery but then bam dead. I've been in contact with support so far it's a slow and uneventful ptlprocess

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. On top of that, fingerprint settings disappeared from my security menu. Hope someone has a solution...

Aún que ustedes no crean UMIDIGI no se quiere hacer nada por los errores que tenga el teléfono. deberían quitar el producto de la venta ya que ellos no quieren solventar el error por qué ya van varios reportes de el fallo de huella dactilar y la página no responde a nuestros comentarios la gente podría demandar está compañía por qué dicen tener soporte , atención a sus productos y foros para nada por qué no ayudan cómo va a ser posible que esté hablando de un error de teléfono y salgan con otra cosas como error de relojes etc y uno hablando de un teléfono nosotros como usuario necesitmos tener respuestas y la compañía debe tener en claro que puede recibir una demanda legal por un error que no han solventado ni siquiera se preocupan por eso

I have the same problem with my X10, the fingerprint reader stopped working yesterday. All options related to the fingerprint reader are lost from the menu.

I have this smartphone only from January 7, it was functional only 19 days; (

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I will add that uploading the software via SP Flash Tool did not help.

This is my second purchase of a umidigi phone, previously I had a One Max and after a short time the main camera stopped working.

This is my last purchase of a phone of this brand - I will not risk a third time.

hi i bought phone in dec 24 2021, the phone work well but, i see a error when wake up sudenly i just read something with "finger" in january 3 or 4 and the sensor just quit, the menu option gone, and some times when receive calling is auto loudspeaker or just no sound, i activate loudspeaker and disable and normal call speaker start working good again.

but i opened the phone disconected and reconected the sensor, factory reset, downgrade and upgraded via sp flash and Fota, but the sensor dint apaear in my bison x10 pro

I am very unhappy with Umidigi. How can you have a warranty and not use it? Clearly, there is a problem with BISON X10 and they should recall the whole series. The failure of the fingerprint sensors and other parts within 6 months is ridiculous. It is better to have a less rigid phone and drop it than to have a rigid phone who can`t even survive normal wear and tear. I say spread the word until Umidigi gets the message. Stop ripping of your clients.
