This is the SP Flash Tool release of the

V1.0_20210804 system software

for UMIDIGI Power 5 4GB+128GB

Flash tool operation is recommended to experienced users only. If you are not yet an experienced flash tool user, please carefully read the flash tool tutorial before proceeding, and strictly follow each instruction.

Except if an authorized or responsible expert directly asked you to do that,

never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!

UMIDIGI Power 5 receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with SPFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6765_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI Power 5 if the standard method doesn't work.

It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop

1. Connect your phone to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and hold the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Também estou tendo problemas com o telefone, fica reiniciando algumas vezes ao dia, trava o touch, fecha aplicativos repentinamente.

Solicito ao Suporte da Umidigi uma solução, pois isto esta causando transtorno para seu clientes e usuários do aparelho.


I'm also having problems with the phone, it keeps restarting a few times a day, crashes the touch, closes apps suddenly.

I ask Umidigi Support for a solution, as this is causing inconvenience for its customers and users of the device.

Hey guys - me again!

I have just a few buggies with this firmware on the Power 5. I got mine for an Amazon Testing program and need some feedback to let others know..

After I restart the phone, and I mean every single restart - the Google folder comes back to my Home screen. Why? I remove it when I reboot and don't need it there - but it comes back!

Also - not sure if it's a framerate issue - the display lags a little.

When I open the sound settings by clicking + / - on the volume keys, to open the expanded quick menu for volume, it lags! Like 3 seconds before it loads and brings the menu with all the sliders up. Just a little laggy.

Messages keeps acting like I've never used a text message and shows the pop-up "Touch and hold the mic to record an audio clip". Messages is also having a hard time connecting to RCS Chat Features - not a problem with any of my previous Umidigi phones. I do have RCS with my carrier - know a lot about that service and how to set it up actually. I was one of the first in my area to start using it.

Fingerprint scanner is a bit sluggish too - despite having to capture twelve fingerprint areas to use.

Other than that - great! I like the Power series for the battery life. No one has a bigger, longer lasting battery than the Power series from Umidigi!

Entra al modo Recovery y limpia todo los datos y reinicias, me funciono así

Estou com o mesmo Problema, Power 5 mesmo após as formatação por Firmware, continua reiniciando aleatoriamente, Fiz todo processo do fórum e não resolveu, será que uma nova atualização resolva ou é problema de Hardware ?

I'm with the same problem, Power 5 even after formatting by Firmware, keeps restarting randomly, I did the whole process of the forum and it didn't solve, will a new update solve it or is it a Hardware problem?
