Hi, my One Max has developed (well to be far it may have always been there but I have just noticed it) a rather bright white spot when the background color is white.  Its only on white, other colours seem to be fine.

Anyone know if there is a way to reset/test screen colors on these phones?

PS, if you want to try a different dialer (phone app) check out, version 28 (the umi default is version 12).

Thanks Exagon2000 that app helped highlight the issue. On a bright screen, I get an even brighter spot, its just enough to be ignoring.

I was told to update the software, it was already on the latest version, So I reflashed it, made no difference.  I also tried various engineering codes (*#*#etc codes) that didn't work either

I have started a warranty claim, that's gong no where fast as they have stopped talking to me.

This usually happens when you pressed the device too hard or sit on it. I have this issue on other screen cheap screen phones like my mom's Samsung Galaxy Prime Plus.

Pretty common in cheap LCD displays.

I could understand that if the issue was consistent across the colours as it would indicate damage, but as its only on white/bright sections, I don't believe that's the issue.

My real frustration, is that UMIDigi are now ignoring me, they have stopped responding via the message service on AliExrpess, emails and all attempts to communicate are ignored....  pretty crap for a company that's trying to become a real player...

They might say you damaged it, but we can't even have that conversation as they will not communicate with me, very disappointing.
