I buy Emax Umi more than half year ago. Last night when I sleep ( I always charge my phone when I sleep ) i smell fire and i see that my Emax Umi is starting a fire and give black smoke. Without thinking i throow it away from window ( I live in second floor). The battery leave black soot everywhere. I was scarry that it my blow in my house and set up a big fire. What I Can do with it ? I can want full refound or new phone? I send a photo:

Really, you should contact UMI do with them and , at worst, if there is no choice at all and if the evidence is on , make a complaint, more than one device , you should see the damage  in your home that to cause it and change the phone !

honestly thou i suspect the battery is not designed to be charged to 4.35v, everytime i charged it to 100% it always loses the first 10% rather quickly. nowadays i always charged it to ~90% as it is enough for me to get through the day

why would you say that? Based on what? I honestly think that the makers/designers know what they are doing...
In this case I believe it's a technical fault or production fault...
