Hi, I have not seen any mention of USB OTG on the specs. Is this supported in the Z2?

Hi, OTG is such a basic feature, every UMIDIGI phone supports it, so the Z2 is not an exception.

You are completely right.
Due to the many disappointments and empty promises of UMIDIGI I do not want to try the Z2 Pro anymore.
The fact that UMIDIGI discontinues support for their devices after such a short time keeps me from buying.
I can understand that support costs money and UMIDIGI would rather sell new devices.
But with this system, you are losing your customers.
Only satisfied and enthusiastic customers buy a second device.

I have been deceived by the lack of updates on my previous purchases: plus e, z, z pro, note 2, crystals and my biggest deception was the s2 with no android 7 for its bigger screen... What were supposed to be flagships were sold 250$, then 300$ and now even more but I don't feel the improvement justifies these always increasing prices. It's funny to see that 6 months later we can find them at less than half the listing price because of the bad feedbacks they received. If you want to keep your customers offer a real after sale service and give us updates at least every 3 or 6 months to show us you don't think your models have only a 3 month life expectancy... Xiaomi should be taken in example for this, more than a year after they launched the redmi note 4 its price has only dropped by 50$ because it's always updated which allow us to sell them in second hand for something while nobody wants a second hand umidigi. Think about it if you want to improve.

The AMOLED is much more expensive while its color reproduction might be not the best.

Edited by Daphone at 2018-5-13 10:03 \n\nYes not sure AMOLED are the solution, but the Sharp screen on my Z are not strong in the summer daytime.
Other LCD screen may be better, im not sure, very casual phone user so have not handled a lot of phones.

Personally i do not care if phone screen do not have the best color reproduction, it is after all just a phone and i dont look much on it.
But it would be nice if one was able to see the screen good for instance using it for navigation, which are almost the smartest thing i use my phone for.
For the addicted people that can barely let go of their phone this might be more important, though i fint it hard to belive anyone playing games or watching movies on a phone are a videophile to be taken serious, after all good images need to be viewed on a proper sized screen and not a stupid little phone screen ( at least thats what i think )

I need to detox myself the past couple of monts i have used my phone 3 - 4 hours every month, must remind the 10 people with my number to not talk so much BS when they call me.

That sounds very interesting.
Sensor Sony IMX371 is also used in the OnePlus 5.
I'm unsure about the Samsung sensor.
He is also used in the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017).

In the end, much will depend on the software.
That's exactly where I have doubts.
Did UMIDIGI actually develop a device with a good camera this time?

I am very curious about the first camera tests.
Will the promises ever be fulfilled?

What about Gorilla Glass (for example, Corning Gorilla Glass 5) ?

Will there be an LED notification light ?

Will the front camera also have an LED flash ?

Will there be an (optical) image stabilization ?

Gorilla Glass 5.
No notification LED.
Front LED flash won't be present.
OIS won't be applied, EIS will be, as far as I know.
