Root the S2 pro ?

Hi there,
I'm french (excuse me, my english is sometime bad) and recent owner of the S2 pro.

I'm looking for a tutorial to root the phone.

I found that page

The TWRP team has apparently not released a specific version of TWRP so is it very safe to flash the phone with this howto ?

Has anyone tried to root the S2 Pro and succeded in it ?
What do you think about this howto ?

Hey, am i violating the law by rooting my device? if so, the law of where? is FBI gonna fly over and arrest me?

Be careful when you use words like this, since you do not speak on behalf of my country.

Secondly, voiding my warranty is my issue, thank you for your reminder, I am sure 95% of the root users are well aware of that.

But do not take away our rights to root.

its always good to try to make something, but dont use us as a beta tester

in fact if i knew you must stick with UmiOS, i definitely would not have bought this phone.

I really cannot recall since when an Android phone will ever claim that they can never be rooted?

Probably some misunderstanding. UMI OS based phones cannot be rooted thanks to the Efuse partition protection system.

Pas de problème de Bluetooth comme j'ai pu lire avec cette ROM ?

L'install s'est bien passée, la rom à l'air propre, merci pour le coup de main esdes17_3
Mais le téléphone n'est pas du tout rooté ainsi, tu peux vérifier avec root checker ou supersu.
A suivre donc
(on est sur un forum international, chacun doit essayer d'y mettre du sien)

Did you read and correctly understood my post???
Did I say anything about stop speaking etc.  NO!!!!!
I only want see your posts also translated in to English.
I know how to translate but this is not solution because simply is too much everyday to translate.
As I said "I don't mind if you use your own language but please provide translation underneath"

Unfortunately there is no possibilities to root device with Umidigi OS.
If you want more freedom in OS please use Basic ROM from here

Thanks for your answer, that's what I've already did.
But the phone isn't rooted with these ROM.
