I am a Truly UMI lover and i use my First UMI phone is UMI X2 and this phone is great, camera result is Good.

Now i Buy UMI eMax and i shocked when i use this mobile...
Camera is very bad...
i thought 3750 mAh battery is great but battery backup is very bad, not more then 8-10 hours in normal use..

my Last word is...i try to contact UMI Team but till now not solve any problem...


my future planning is buy to umi iron but now i thought...

I bought two emax. And yes. One of them has bad camera! No long distance focus.  Phone number one had good camera. Bad screen pressure points. Bad receive speaker on higher volume. Second emax has bad camera module. And no working microphone for calls! I had to open and pull things out to make one good phone. Btw the battery is 3500mah! Not 3780. So got one broken phone and one working. The lcd is not a ips! Be aware.  Best about this phone is call quality is good. 3.5mm jack good sound and power. And video record is amazing. Fall backs is quality issues. No ips screen and pressure points.

Download the latest KITKAT ROM not the JYUI 0629 ROM as i found this a bit of a battery drain myself!!! Basically you should only lose 2-4% on this ROM over a 6-7 hour period when the phone is not in use with the power saving option enabled. Make sure you turn off GPS and WIFI and your mobile network has a strong signal also when not in use or enable airplane mode. I can get 1.5 days out of the battery with ease with this ROM.

camera is quite ok if you use 4:3 format with 13Mpixels (at least with the latest KITKAT ROM and the spanish improvement)

I have had my emax for a week now and the biggest problem I am having is the signal strength.  I have tried 3 different UK operators and the signal is very poor. (in my house it non existant) I know it is the fone because my other phone is OK and my wifes fone is ok so it must  be the emax.  Would chaging the rom help ?

i think  umi emax only  shows the quality of 3g signals of the operator.... download mobile uncle tool and  run it    ENGINEEER MODE/ TELEPHONY/NETWORK SELECTING    CHANGE THE SENTTİNG   AS    4G/3G/2G  AUTO     if you choose  gsm  only  you can see the signall of  operator is full  but  if you choose wcdms 3g  only it is weak       what i have been trying to say is  umi emax shows  the usable 3g signal strength  and  as we know  3g signals  changes according to the places we go...     if you chose  4g 3g 2g   auto option in engineer mode  signal quality changes atomatically .... after doing that    you can easily see that  the mobile operator signal is full when 3g is off  and not usable in the places we are...  that means  yo can be reached when someone calls you ..

hello, I bought Umi emax about two weeks later. When Emax is fully charged phone not reset cycle. See screenshot. Does anyone have a similar problem?
