You're right, Umi Z Pro have released a better rom of Android 7 and for Umi Z we're waiting, but do not pass a forecast.

On one of the Z pro forum I read that it can be released on any day of this week as planned. So keep thd fingers crossed!

I doesn't think they will release the update, it's just bullshit. The administrator doesn't respond to our questions, they told us the update would release the 19th, it's the 24th and still no update...

Leave time to time, I do not want to see my battery swell even more because the ROM Nougat makes the phone even hotter.

I am as impatient as you to have this update, but I prefer to wait and have a good update, than to have a quick update but wobbly

That was the last info I got. I'm waiting for the confirmation. The devs are working hard of course, they haven't stopped their activity.

Currently UMI Z and UMIDIGI Z Pro are the only smartphones on earth with Helio X27 SoC available on the market. The other two models (many competitors?) you mentioned are still in pre-sale while the two UMi models are really existing devices with real Anodroid 7.1.1. You should check at least your own links.

UMI team I really sorry to say my point of view i'm not going to compare you to competitors see the technology and industry how fast the can come up with the new products you all most take 5 months to get the new 7.1 OS but as you said previous thread on UMi Z Android 7.0 update timeline by early April but you received source code for the Helio X27 platform in end of april within 1 month you didn't make an 7.1 os but out of the market all redy product avalebale to get with in 10 days, in 1 month time you can't give your customer for new 7.1 but in the market the come up with 7.1 on X27 with in the same one month time sea the difference between you and the market really i agree with you UMI Z phone build quality awesome products best phone in terms of hardware at this price but please give better software to this phone to get good user experience all redy its too dealy in push 7.1 OTA  please im requesting to push ups Android 7.1.1 as soon as possible. UMI team don't work hard work smart ..?
