No there is no need push any combination of buttons. All process should start it self after press download on SPFT and plug in phone to computer. If phone is on boot loop (phone can't be switched off and battery can't be disconnected as is build in) then you need press and hold power button until flashing process starts (around 10 seconds)

MarcinP, I can't agree with you. When I updated my Max I struggled two nights with it, as the update process didn't want to start. I tried it tens of times without success. Then I found on this forum someone saying that he/she managed to start the process by pressing the power and volume up buttons together right after starting the download and connecting the phone to the PC. I tried that and the process started immediately.

As you can see some details from my and your post are the same as press and hold power button. Probably in your case volume button did nothing but when you hold power button you triggered start flashing system.

No, I didn't hold down the power button, just did a short press of power and volume up buttons together, and the flashing process started. And this happened after so many unsuccessfull efforts made without this button combination that I refuse to think it was just a coincidence.

However, no use arguing about this. If nobody else can confirm this same behaviour, I am ready to believe that my case is an isolated one, caused by whichever difference in the PC, operating system, drivers or whatever...

We have other user which complained about Lte poor signal too.
He dialed *#*#4636#*#*  in to dialer then you will be transferred to engineering/testing/information mode go to phone information - top right three dots - select radio band (he choosed AUS and signal went stronger) please try different options as auto, euro, etc. Of course USA not working.

Another option is go to pure engineering mode
Please type in to dialer *#*#6346633#*#* you will be transferred to engineering mode please go to - telephony - band mode and check every box which is highlighted check sim1 and sim 2 (only one of sim will be available GSM,  WCDMA and Lte)  - set
Then telephony - network selection - sim 1 - pick up 4G/3G/2G(auto)

I did that before for auto and euro, but now I did it with Aus and AUS3, it seams to me that AUS3 works for me - it says 4G and I can turn the mobile data any time. I will keep testing it, but thanks a lot for the help!
