Thats what it said format + download! You even said this yourself Marcin to another user on the forum format all not format all but bootloader.
The issue is everyone who has formatted has lost the fingerprint reader

''Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!''
You can read that line under the title of every ROM post.

Is it really an argument? If your doctor prescribes a medicine to the patient before you, you will buy the same medicine and if that makes you sick, you'll think that's the doctor's fault since he said that? Sorry but are you serious?
We are trying to find a solution (not certainly with success) but you must understand that, you erased the whole software content of your phone by your own decision and that action made your device defective, not the manufacturer. That other post you referred to, where Marcin recommended to perform a flash format with SPFT was about UMIDIGI S2, not the S2 Pro. The S2 is based on stock Android without Efuse partition protection, it's overall a very different system. Neither Marcin nor me nor anyone else at UMIDIGI have ever advised to format the flash of a UMIDIGI S2 Pro. Personally I advised the opposite in many posts in the past, to never format the flash of your phone. We never advise anything without testing that process first.

Can you elaborate on the reason why you went with the efuse system and UMI OS and not the same system as on the S2?

Sorry but no, I can't, and my personal opinion is not important here.

Will you find a way we can fix this issue, granted it is our fault collectively for formatting the flash but we would really appreciate a way to get our fantastic S2 Pro's back to their full functioning awesomeness! I preordered the phone the first day it was pre-released because it ticks all the boxes. It is frustrating that many have us have formatted but with a fix you will have people praising you for getting their phones full operative.

I look forward to your response and a hopefully a way to resolve this issue

Yes I said directly to user only related to his case after he already decided format his device caused more issues. But you can't pick and choose my answers and recommendations which I provided to users related only to his case.

Mr.  MarcinP

can u tell use whats wrong to use ( format all + download ) ?? I did this with many many others  kind of android phones with brand name & everything was normal & perfect ( no fingerprint , signal or camera issues ) this is mistake from SOFTWARE ( ALL VER. ) if I used format all option ..
Can u try to do our test to be insure tha'ts software issue and then find with your software engineers solution to fix this big problem .. u can see alot of you tube videos uses  ( format all + download ) option with many phones running android 6 or 7 and nothing happen to fingerprint or signal .. only one issue that loss IMEI & its very easy to restore it.. plz. Be aware with our comments on this problem & Do not carry the mistakes of the company defects in this stupid software  . Hope u understand our anger from this  UMIDIGI mistake . I think if I upload this issue to you tube its bad feedback to UMIDIGI .. Especially since I am not the only one who complained about this defect

Ive read some articles about the efuse partition and I think the reason no on can give us a solution is that, there is no solution unless using some Umidigi toolsets that we wont be allowed to use.
I guess we all shouldnt have formatted

We need the original ROM that comes with the phones sold from UMIDIGI to solve this problem.. the reason for this issue that phone missing fingerprint driver and lead to give sensor is 0x0 ( fingerprint HW not available )
