The S5 Pro has only one hardware version, so any (official) software version is compatible with any device, regardless of where you purchased it.

I agree, fingerprint is rubbish! this shit had 3 update and died.

Remove your existing fingerprint samples, then set them up again. Clean the screen and/or replace the screen protector if you have one installed.

It's amazing the disregard that UMIDIGI has done with us with this cell phone, they never answer us  ...

Probably only the global version will get some more updates but I can't tell you anything certain. An Android version upgrade is not planned.

FP sensor: adding same finger more than once seems make it more responsive and unlock quite good.

Compass: no luck. Local conditions does not matter, because it happens all over country.
When it is calibrated works good, but it not last long and need re-calibrate it again and again.
Google maps "reflector" is almost always like 120 degrees, about 30 when calibrated.

I updated to v1.3 from v1.1 one week ago, thank you for making it available. Unfortunately, there is little improvement. The fingerprint recognition is sh*t as it has always been. I added my right thumb 5 times (after having deleted all previous fingerprints) and there is one success out of 10 attempts.  

There is one improvement, though. With v1.1, the phone restarted when I received a call from a private/hidden number - in Hungary with the 131 prefix from a landline phone and #31# from a mobile phone. Now this doesn't happen any more. However, blocking notifications about calls from blocked numbers doesn't work any more, regardless of the relevant setting. Furthermore, blocked calls from blocked or hidden numbers are always rejected after the first ring, regardless of the setting in ACR Phone or any other phone apps, allowing for silent ringing. This works fine on my Umidigi Power and my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Another issue v1.3 hasn't brought a remedy for is that the phone keeps dropping the WiFi connection even with az excellent signal level. The connection is restored a couple of seconds later but it is still annoying.

You can release 1.3 for EEA and thus not have to lose everything installed, configuration, etc.

Всем привет. За пол года с последнего моего сообщения - так ничего и не изменило... Компания продолжает штамповать и анонсировать новинки с 1 или 2 патчами - и все на этом поддержка телефона умирает.
Так как по своей наивности стал владельцем и S3 pro и S5 pro - в настоящее время пользуюсь первым. Батарея в S5 pro умирает быстро - не зависимо от установленных приложений. Одним словом - компания которая себя так позиционирует - просто "Кирпич".
На флагманы - ни обновлений, ни заплаток, ни обновления андроид.
Остается пожелать фирме скорейшего банкротства с таким отношением к своим покупателям. Быстрее уйдет с рынка - быстрее ее место займет другой производитель - с более высокой оценкой и отношением к своим покупателям.
