I had a similar issue and tried to ask UMIDIGI for help, they opened then closed the request saying Coronavirus was stopping them answering requests.
Anyway in the end I factory reset the phone with the sd card in place and it seemed to take whatever it needed of the system data back "OnBoard" because everything worked as the phone was when new out of the box.
The problem I am now having is 3 fold.
1 Call volume is as others have found to be very low.
2 Answering a call is unsuccessful 9 times out of 10 because when I "Swipe Up" to answer it just bounces the green telephone symbol back down to the bottom of the screen and carries on ringing.
3 When I do manage to answer the call if I move the phone even slightly whils it is near my head, the call is cut off.
This is my first experience of buying direct from China, using DX.com and I cant get help from the vendor, DX or UMIDIGI.
The taste in my mouth is very sour!
