I notice that all the support seems to be for the F1. But I recently bought the F1 Play. Will the root methods and ROMs for the F1 work on the F1 Play? Did I choose the wrong phone? I thought the F1 Play was the better choice because of the extra RAM and supposedly better camera. I hope the Play gets just as much support!

Hi all! i really need a help. I own F1 for three days. the main reason to buy it (among others) was NFC as I am diabetic and wanted to start using continues blood sugar checking device - Freestyle Libre from Abbot company. I have purchased the sensor and it doesn't communicate with my F1..... it does work although with my friend's samsung and huawei. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It is extremely important for me as without working NFC this phone will be useless for me... Thanks a lot for your replies.

I had a similar issue and tried to ask UMIDIGI for help, they opened then closed the request saying Coronavirus was stopping them answering requests.
Anyway in the end I factory reset the phone with the sd card in place and it seemed to take whatever it needed of the system data back "OnBoard" because everything worked as the phone was when new out of the box.

The problem I am now having is 3 fold.

1  Call volume is as others have found to be very low.

2  Answering a call is unsuccessful 9 times out of 10 because when I "Swipe Up" to answer it just bounces the green telephone symbol back down to the bottom of the screen and carries on ringing.

3  When I do manage to answer the call if I move the phone even slightly whils it is near my head, the call is cut off.

This is my first experience of buying direct from China, using DX.com and I cant get help from the vendor, DX or UMIDIGI.

The taste in my mouth is very sour!

Interesting but I also have the problem that when in a call, if I move the phone even slightly against or near my head then the call gets cut off!

It seems UMIDIGI do not care.

I am also having to just go through replying in order to gain enough credits to launch a question of UMIDIGI. This sucks.
