Here no problems with the sensor for tilting phone.. Also camera work fine.. Like in all roms...
Maybe your sensor is faulty... It's not a problem from rom.
Did that last OTA. Use SPFT and flash recovery only from your current ROM (worked for me) or recovery + boot as bencebacsi suggests.

There can be multiple reasons of your issue, that cannot be discovered remotely. Download the OTA update file of the next version (V7.01_20170413) and install it manually or flash directly this latest version with SPFT.
If you have TWRP installed in your system, you have to flash both the stock boot and recovery images to be able to update via OTA. If you have rooted your phone (I guess you have), you also need to flash the stock system partition, so overall that's better to flash the whole new ROM with SPFT. You can find each stock partition in the flash tool packages.
