i tried to install a lot of times the viper4android driver is not installed it say abnormal (with the fact that i installed audio modification library magisk mod)

You mean as a Magisk module? I installed it and it says it's enabled. No error messages.

What else would I check to see if it's working?

Never used that before, sorry. :-(

you should check if the drivers are installed correctly see when you open the application at the top right the first icon should open a dialog box and from there you could check if everything is working properly

I don't know if you will get an answer but I wouldn't be surprised if you did not. Umidigi is pretty much only interested in selling phones. Supporting them is not important to them. Any good company would provide better support for their products to increase sales.

Yeah, I am afraid, too, that was IT. Three or four updates and then it's "Done! On to the next one!".

What a shame, really. Because the hardware seems to be really good. So far, I am really happy with my F1 Play, but I will never buy a Umidigi product again. I guess it's better to spend some extra bucks and be future-proof. For example: My girlfriend has a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy J7, which is no high-end phone either, and it's still getting updates. Even a Pie update in summer.

Looks like the developer team at Umidigi is too small to handle the amount of products they throw out on the market.
