I mean pre-sale started in early November physically sent in half of December and received at the end of January. And the last update half of June and no more support. UMI products don't have long-life as they have products on monthly basis. And be careful about most of chinas produts Less bezel products looks great on render only. They are master of illusions like David Copperfield to advertise Less bezel but reality is completely different. Always look at real video on youtube.

yeah I get that, and I know that the Elephone S8 is a much better solution, but I really like the design of Umi compared to the Elephone, and I'm really torn right now

I've given up on the idea of ordering one of the first S2 Pro phones, as the Preordering and delivery has slipped to the end of November, and from reading on this Forum, Umidigi appears none too reliable with their delivery predictions on new products!
As I'm buying this phone for an Xmas gift for my wife, I couldn't risk uncertain delivery dates, so I have just ordered a Z1 Pro from the Umidigi store on AliExpress and they have shipped it today. If it performs well, I'll order the S2 Pro in the New Year, after its been on sale for a month or two, and then do a swap with my wife's new Z1 Pro!
