Yesterday I received a "reply" to my email, asking me if I had already contacted the store where I bought the phone. I had to reponder again, which did not give me the option of receiving a battery for replacement and sending the cell phone to make the repair would come out much more expensive for me and time consuming. I resent my data and photos of the swollen device.

Let's see if they now respond positively by sending me the battery so that I can repair the defective cell phone that the UMI had available in the market without doing the due tests and that I was not at fault for having bought it.

The store where I bought umidigi Z offering me money. Could you reset the battery stock on your site so I can buy it urgently?

Hi,
I think there was just a misunderstanding between you. This issue is about just a small batch (not a whole generation) of defective batteries, that have been already recalled from the factory. You cannot get the same kind again.

A partial refund is not an acceptable solution in this case since your phone perfectly useless without a working battery. If your seller refuse to send you a new battery or to repair your phone, we can send you a battery. Currently the battery is not available at retailers.

Day 5 and no reply....beginning to loose my patience now and getting angry.

I'm getting promotion emails for the Z1 about every day though. Today something about battery safety "the safety dance...)...come on!!, don't make us laugh! There is no proper testing being done on the batteries and lets be honoust... It's not a batch of 20 that is faulty because I could answer 20 emails within an hour easily and so could Amy from customer "service". This shouldn't take 5+ days!!

Why is it that no one is getting a battery from the factory while you say they should? DX, Banggood, gearbest, aliexpress sellers, customers direct....no one can actualy realy get a battery!

I think I'll be starting to post reviews soon with interesting pictures of bloated battery. I'll take my losses and will tell not to buy any Umi product. I'll make sure to reach as many people possible.

Hello,

My UMI Z Pro's battery has swollen and popped open the side of my phone.
I had a local technician check the device to confirm this issue and saw that it also uses the battery of the UMI Z.
Is it possible to request for a replacement battery?
I am willing to purchase directly from UMI if needed.

P.S. - This issue aside, I absolutely love the phone!

boa noite,
enviei meu endereço com as fotos do meu aparelho com abateria inchada a uma semana e ate agora a umidgi nao respondeu ,infelizmente a loja banggod onde comprei informou que pra reparar o aparelho tenho pagar os custos do transporte  , acho que isso esta errado que o problema nao foi causado pela fabricante.

It's been a week since I sent the email as the procedure says, the moment with no response. From what I am seeing nobody has received a reply from UMIDIGI informing that they have received the e-mail or informing when the battery will be sent.
Patience we are having, what is missing now is commitment to solving the problem for UMIDIGI.
