You need download this whole rom ( 20161017 as this one is for umi super, don't try with umi plus as tp driver is different and screen will be upside-down and there will be wrong touch respond) and when you unpack/unzip you will see few files one is software/android file and is 2.0 GB.

Question:

This secure boot dont work. We need it for bank apps.
So its needed badly.Now the apps says its rooted. And its your bootloader that needs to be closed.
Hope there is a fix for this soon. The one thats inn here, "work" but the screen is bad.
E.g number 1 is not touching 1 on the screen if you understand what i mean

After this update the device activates functions alone, opens and closes applications, has caught quite a few times, and then restarts. When connected to the charger, these problems become more pronounced. I proceeded with the Reset on the device, in order to verify if it would solve the problem, but I did not succeed.

Hi UMI thanks for the update!!
   Now we just need better quality in photos with flash!!

I took the risk and updated mine UMI Super and all seems to work fine, even fingerprint no issues at all and it's faster to unlock, no calibration needed!! The battery I'm still testing..

I reverted back to 0708, as my screen responds better with that, than with any other version. Newer touchscreen drivers are terrible, I can only assume they have different display HW's in their phones, or they use second grade components / production left overs for integration, to keep prices low.(Assumption, no fact) and thus the driver is probably optimised for a slightly different HW now than in our build.

Apart from that - and in my opinion besides the bad camera - this phone is excellent.

My question is which file (bin, img?) and how did you modify to get the new camera app. Are there also settings/driver that affect the camera?

I swapped only system file "Android " and attached to older ROM 20160708 .
When you unpack/unzip ROM folder you can check size . 2.0 GB is with new camera app in 20161017 ROM and 1.91 GB is with old camera app in 20160708 ROM . So just swap this two files in ROM folder and download to SPFT . I unchecked preloader and user data . Everything is working fine for me so far (around 3 weeks ) .

After v3.02_20161017 my battery drains faster and my Umi Super is becoming very hot when charging. Anyone else?
