Umi Super Screen Burn Issue

Hello,

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I ordered my Umi Super from Amazon Germany via UMI DIGI (official Marketplace shop from Umi).

It looks like something is "burnt" into the screen. It's only visible with certain backgrounds and colors.

Any new info on this subject?

By the way, in my case this issue also occurred merely a few days after I got the phone. Could this be a software bug related to one of the many updates the phone received after unboxing it? I ask because I didn't notice anything strange when I used the phone before updating.

Hello,

I was thinking of purchasing a second device, either Max or Umi Plus. Now that I read your post, I am worried that Max could have the same issue.

Could you post a picture of how it looks on your Max device please?

It looks the same like on the photo above, it is visible on blue and dark grey background, but it is ok when you watch movies, surf internet or anything else..... Im not concerned that much, i m just curious that it does not get worse after some time.

Where did you buy your device and did you see the issue right away or did it appear after a while?

\n\nI bought my device on AliexpressI noticed it second day but i think it was there since beginning because it shows only on blue and dark grey background. Just to ad I didnt upddate my phone at all it is V1.01_20160810

Dear users,

I've already given some possible answers in this thread, so I wouldn't repeat them again and again. It's definitely some kind of defection of the LCD, that issue cannot be resolved other than by replacing the LCD.
We really regret any such kind of inconvenience but please don't wait for an update or a code, that resolves your issue but rather take action (at your reseller) to make your device repaired or replaced.
