Yes it does. There is a slight gap between the edge of the phone and the protector, which is intentional so it sticks nicely. Here is a picture of the top part of the phone.



My previous protector went right up to the edge so it wouldn't stick as nicely because of the curves right at the tip of the edge. This one does not have that issue.

Has anyone tried a compatible screen protector? I mean, using something meant for the iPhone 6 Plus or mabye the Samsung Galaxy and see if it fits?

Yes, the protector does miss the upper left hole. But is that the microphone? Wouldn't the microphone be at the bottom of the phone? Or did you mean receiver for phone communication? My previous protector did not cover the upper left hole and I have not noticed any change in phone communication.

Does anyone know what that upper left hole is for?
