The FaceId (Face Unlock), I'm using is the stock one included in the phone system, (Settings, Face Unlock, I am not using any external apps for security, I have tried deleting the profile and creating new one in different lighting conditions to prevent unfocused registration as you mention and still anyone that picks up the phone will unlock it by just putting it in front of their face, in this case I do believe it is Umidigi's fault,   the only external app that I use for the NFC Ecertificate and my banks mobile pay app.

Probably NFC is not that good and the case made the signal strength worse....

NFC strength with or without the case should not be affected, although we are talking about a 1mm distance that is increased by the case, (first mobile i've ever tried that this occurs).
About the VoLTE as I said works fine, the problem is that even with no case the signal never is higher than 2 bars when other phones next to it are receiving full signal and can use VoLTE, I believe this could be a problem with the phone not the case. If it was a problem with the case, the signal would go up after removing the case.

i wanted to say that the fnc and volte is low from start, and so for NFC (as you stated) also remove the cover help a lot.

For faceid i dont know the truth of what is used if a simple system by Umi/mtk or the real android api....surely the android api should work good but there is also the possibility that the image is not correctly saved or too much compressed in the faceid system so the facial points dont works.

I have the z2 pro ceramic, and after I read the problems you guys had with the face id , I also tried it whith my collegs , and it only works with me .
The wifi strength is the same as with my other phone , and no problem with nfc with case on :/
The only problem I have is the crappy camera ... a lot of noise even in bright daylight , please fix the camera .

Hello,
After going through all the settings several times I found out a second face unlock in the phone settings.
Settings - Security & Location - Smartlock - Trusted Face.
When trusted face is active combined with Face Unlock I find that anyone that picks up the phone can unlock it.
After I disabled both Trusted face and Face unlock, deleted profiles on both and set up face unlock again, without activating the smartlock trust face, bingo it works perfectly.

My guess is that there must be a programing error somewhere that when both active causes an error that unlocks the phone.

Face Unlock is the Original Genuine Android 8 API...thats why it works well.

On mine updated and never formatted or fabric restored i tried to se a sequenze, settings crashed and now i cant set nothing anymore for the lockscreen...luckly i setted scroll before and it crashed in sequence setting not saving it bad but stuck on scroll.

Please try the following and let us know the result:
* What is your current rom version
* Try the *#*#33#*#* debug menu > single test > microphone 1/2 test. Do both work is one not working? Which one?
* Try downgrading to 20180823 and doing the microphone test again. Does it work now?
* Try upgrading to the latest version ( 20180920) and doing the microphone test again. Does it stop working again?

Then, make a video of the microphone not working and send the phone back. Umidigi so far has not acknowledged the microphone problem as being a software problem and are actively ignoring everyone who reports this problem.
