Essaye de flasher avec SP flash tool, ce n'est pas si compliqué il faut juste bien suivre les instructions. Bon tu auras encore des bugs , mais au moins tu auras fait la mise a jour.

Engineering mode currently is not available, only you can use *#*#07206633#*#* Engineer mode for mtk log and ygps
We are not using double tap because we are using fingerprint scanner to wake up screen.
Maybe in further updates system developers add more functions

J ai acheté un umidigi Z2 original et depuis quelque jour les appareils photo avant et arrière ainsi que le flash ne fonctionne plus.
l application appareil photo a disparu quand je vais dans les paramètres je vois l application je force l arrêt et vide le cache mais ça ne change rien.
j ai fais un recovery data reset et ça fonctionne pas.
pourriez vous m aider?

i managed to activate engineer mode by just copying engineermode.apk from previous rom versions to system/app folder..
for many users that doesnt want to use fingerprint, double tap is a must.. so please activate it in kernel

I've flashed my phone in firmware upgrade mode and... when flash end, and i power on my z2, after the splash screen appear in the lower left corner "FASTBOOT mode..." and it will not boot anithing. My Z2 is a beautiful brick you can help me?
EDIT: i reflashed in download mode and all is working fine... going to new configuration and testing.

I am interested in buying the Z2 SE. Is it even worth buying considering all the bugs that the Z2 is experiencing? The phone seems unusable from my perspective. It seems like everyday there is new problems that distrupt the daily usage of the phone. I am so interested in buying the Z2 SE.. but I have concerns with glitchy software.. are the cameras even real? Are these phones sinking ships? Somebody please help me consider my purchase. Thank you.

I've installed yesterday the latest update via WIFI (UMIDIGI_Z2_V1.0_20180622_20180829-1744) in my Z2 Original.
So far, I have the same problem on the search bar on settings.
Also, I started having problems with the back camera.
When capturing objects that are near the phone, it focuses fine, but when trying to capture panoramic photos or long distance objects, the photos are blurred. I've tried this with and without HDR.
Selfie camera works fine.

Here are 2 of the photos i've taken yesterday :

All the other basic functions I've tested (calls, messages, 2 SIM, wifi, mobile data, etc...) are working fine.
