I followed Marcin's instructions, but the device is still uncertified, so I returned it for a repl ...

We tested all available devices with this update and all got certificated after OTA update but only some needed factory reset.
I suspecting that you missed some of our advice.

Well i suspect i got a broken device sent to me, because UmiDigi quality control failed. I did all steps, but still it was un-certifed.

hellow i just recived the phone umidigi one and only restarted one time when the device didnt recognize my fingerprint then it rebooted like in recovery and said... that if it happened again it might be corrupt memory but i rebooted and its fine... but what i really want to know is how can i search for networks on this phone? one the phone starts it hides the network operator tab and i cannot select it. i need that option because where i live my sim card can join 3 diferent networks with the same sim and when i have problems i just change network but with this device i cannot because when the phone starts its connects to the first network it sees. is there a way to change networks?

Edited by Zenmasta at 2018-9-7 03:29 \n\nHi
I think you guys need to look at a problem with the APN feature. Some carrier dont push the right setting for the APN and with android 8.1 the feature to add and edit APN is disabled but can be renabled.
They got the same problem with other phone but they fixed it via update.
Here are some detail

Hi,
Phone itself allows to change APN or network operators but all this needs to be allowed by sim card and network provider.
In settings - network & Internet - mobile network - network operators / access point name
If you still can't change those settings but in different phone you don't have those issues, you should contact directly to network operator technical support and ask for solution because maybe they can't detect your IMEI number and they need add manually.
