Yes, I have fixed my imei, but the phone still does not accept a protection mode for it and is still cramping and when the phone is closed the screen remains black until it restarts

I don't understand - Google Black Light, is it an application or a feature?
I think this version behaves probably the best. Automatic brightness has reserves, but otherwise cool.

It´s work for me. It is mandatory that You have an original card with IMEI that belongs to Your Umidigi cell phone. There are a program that re-write theses numbers back to the phone. After that, it will be possible to reach a cell phone antenna and self-register again to receive carrier signal.
Mediatek provides a program that allow recovering disaster like this. I hope that this helps.

Hello every one.

I am using my a5 pro sinds september last year and I have the 1.4 EU rom.
I would like to know which 4G bands the 1.4 EU version supports. I cannot find a list anymore. And I need to be sure since my new provider is very slow. Much slower than my 3g provider used to be (before they removed 3g). Since Umidigi is not very well known here. I often get into discussions about phones that are not supported.  

So I would like to have the frequecies list ready to defend my phone.

Also since my a5 pro is working very fine and it is rooted i really don't want not update to 1.7. Because that means I have to spent an other 2 weeks getting everything back the way I want it and run the risc something was removed or stops working.
I am just asking it here since I do nto think any one will read the 1.4 eu topic.

I always updated to the new version and I had no problem. I think a lot of things have been improved, definitely battery consumption. I don't remember the version that caused high consumption, but with the current version 1.7 it's going well.

Im running this version, but sometimes the system freezes, it will not react to any inputs...I have to press the power button twice, then it will be ok.
Any update to fix this? Also, latest security patches are welcome.

Spotify still failing, it doesn't fail with other ROM's so the error is in the renderer, OpenGL works, but need to change it manually every reboot, it has been years, this also generates an error in google play store when scrolling.

This has been reported to Umidigi in Facebook, Twitter, E-Mail and these forums, WHEN are you going to fix it?! Are you even listening or working on the phone? I cannot recommend this brand to anyone anymore unless you pay more attention to fixing bugs/errors.
