UMIDIGI Z2 Pro V1.0_20180926 ROM - SPFT + OTA release

\n\nI managed to get SP Tool to work.
1. Phone is off and disconnected.
2. SP tool loaded and scatter file selected, uncheck "userdata", press download.
3. Connect Phone.  Messages appear in windows about device not being recognised etc...  Phone is in recharge mode.
4. With the phone, press up and then power. You will hear Windows beep almost straight away.  Let go of both buttons.  You only hold in the buttons for a very short while (one second maybe).
5. Flashing starts on SP tool.
6. Wait for flashing to finish then disconnect phone and power on.

Microphone is a hardware fault as stated elsewhere.  Return your phone for a replacement.

Thank you very much to me it didnt worked exactly as you do, but insted i simply connect the smartphone to usb (or better with usb alredy connected i poweroff android) then i simply press the VolumeUP and nothing else and it worked like a charm.

Tried the local OTA, Error, phone rebooted, works fine. Tried again, Error, phone rebooted, works fine.

Just to clarify, I have version 20180823_20180914_1020 as reported by the wireless updater.

I tried "It can update version 20180823_20180914 only" so "UMIDIGI_Z2_PRO_V1.0_20180823_20180926-1646-2_update.zip"

Is this correct? Error on update twice in a row.

\n\nHello, after trying the new update, this is the results,
WiFi 2.4ghz now stays connected longer than before, but still unstable, random disconnections.
WiFi 5ghz works fine.
VoWiFi doesn't work
Wireless charging, after 14 minutes the phone was red hot and had shut itself down.
Proximity sensor not working since updating from original firmware.
Dual 4g but not dual data, can only use data connection from one sim at a time.

I dont think that any Android version allow Dual Data, but might be wrong

Got the same problem, can't use the local updates for the 0914 version.

You should use a variable voltage adapter as the power supply of your wireless charger, your Z2 Pro stock wall charger for example, that can work at 9V and 12V as well. Standard Qi compatible wireless chargers usually can work at up to 9V/1.1 while the Q1 charger can go up to 12V/1.25A. The peak voltage of the battery is 4.4V, so the charging power is higher than 4.2V, of course.

I can give you only suggestions here but can't check your phone remotely. You still have 2 other options: installing the OTA update from recovery, or flashing with SPFT.
