Could you please explain a bit more about music app issue.

In my UMIDigi A1 Pro, upon opening the default Music app, when i switch tabs it will force close.

For example the default Music app has 4 tabs (Artist, albums, Songs, Playlist). First time i open the Music app, it is fine. When i touch Albums tab, the app will immediately force close. Everytime i try to open the app again, it will force close and not open anymore, unless i clear the cache. when doing the same thing, it will still force close.

Have you, your phone software up to date?
Did  you power off and restarted before test?

yes, up to date UMIDIGI A1_PRO_V1.0_20180601_20180601-1526...it says my phone is up to date when i used the Wireless Update.

Yes powered off and restarted even did factory reset, same thing

Are you using stock music app?
Are you using SD card?

Sorry to say, but no US adapter with this phone.

Mine arrived on Tuesday and they actually sent an adapter with it

Another wee niggling issue I have now is unexpected power off's.  Seems to be happening daily now.  Twice today.  I go to unlock phone and the fingerprint scanner doesn't vibrate or do anything as if it's off.  When I press power button nothing.  Have to hold down and reboot phone.  Makes me start to wonder how long has it been off for when I find it like this? Have I missed calls?  If it keeps happening I can see me switching handsets.  I know its a entry level handset by I expect it to stay on.  Also like to note on both occasions it needed a reboot today the battery was above 75% charge so not a lack of power causing this.  Any suggestions?

Please perform factory reset.
If this doesn't help please flash complet ROM with SPFT.
For monitoring battery and phone activation please install 3c battery monitor widget.

Also note that the A1 Pro does not have an Android serial number set into it.

That is the default serial from AOSP.
