Ciao @bencebacsi, I got them on build of 27th december, the unofficial one.
Thank you

Hi Psk.it,
That was not an official version and that camera app has had to be replaced due to its improper compatibility. I'm sorry.

It was quite easy to flash. Install drivers. Install flash program. Remember to uncheck 'user part ...

If you connect your phone while it's powered off (recommended), you don't have to and shouldn't press any button while connecting your handset to USB for flashing.

Thank you Mads. I am trying to download the ROM now, failed to download yesterday, much better download speed now. I am going to give it a go once I get the ROM downloaded.

Will I have to go to AT&T store to have ATT configure my sim card again after the ROM flashing? I use a monthly prepaid plan on a sim card.

Edited by pacsantos at 2018-1-24 02:36 \n\nHi, I am experiencing the same issue with bluetooth in my car and earphones. It works fine and then disconnect and then connect again. I already pair/unpair devices 3 times and the problem persists.

Other users have the same problem http://community.umidigi.com/thread-16807-1-1.html

Midiman....Im' from Denmark and my SIM card is not locked the way yours is, so I cannot be sure about this. You better google that one.
As mentioned above it should not be necessary to push power button for download to start, but for some reason mine wouldn't react before I did that. Windows version or something? Dunno. But other than that, no probs. Let me hear your experiences when done.

There's still af funny thing about the alarm. It's mostly delayed a few minutes when phone let idle. But doesn't seem to be consistent. Weird.
Google Play Music has a delay when on Bluetooth. A few seconds. No big deal.

I was going to flash the S2 Pro with the new ROM but I am seeing posts of people that did that and are having wifi issues. I think I will wait to flash the phone, I want to be sure the ROM is stable and does not cause WiFi issues.

Hi,

After a longer time testing, I can ensure you, this update does not cause any wifi issue. From time to time, regardless of the specific model or update, there always are some users reporting new bugs that are not really related to that specific update, their suspicion is based only on an accidental coincidence, something went wrong with their update process, or didn't try to perform at least a factory data reset to resolve their issues.

One question, i have the first version of this fantastic Basic Rom (V1.0_20171207)

How do i update to this version without lost all user data and apps installed now?

Thanks for this great job.

This Rom is how the official rom has to be.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI S2 Pro if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your UMIDIGI S2 Pro to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

^^^ Do I have my phone powered OFF before connecting it to the USB?
^^^ Should the phone be connected in USB debugging mode?
