If an update to Oreo is not possible can you then please reply and announce when Umidigi will release a stable Rom without the current Wifi problem in 1.8 ??

hi guys... how we can root umidigi g? i try kingoroot, kingroot, iroot, rootgenius .... but nothing.... any ideas?
ps i have unlocked the bootloader... but nothing

I regret to tell you but this model probably won't receive further updates. Your Wifi issue might be hardware related.

Magisk Manager with the stock boot.img (same version you have installed on your phone) and SP Flash Tool should work. Read the installation instructions (''Via Magisk Manager'') on the page.

hi admin, please i have a big problem... i flash my rooted umidigi G, but after i cant root (because after patch the boot.img, magisk go on crash) ... and after various flash, i cant restore IMEI... i use mtk engineer but nothing, i receive a text NOT ALLOWED IN USER BUILD.... on AT+EGMR and AT +EGMR ...  how i can fix it and restore my IMEI?

Hi,
You can restore your IMEI numbers with SN Writer. For Magisk Manager you have to use the same version of boot.img that you have installed on your phone.
