I had hopes, and followed your suggestions, but...

I'm not complaining about battery life as such ...

The same problem, after turning WiFi and BT scanning off everything remains the same, are problems easy to reproduce:


When UMI SUPER it's connected to my Huawey watch (android Wear):


* BT eat more than half of my battery.
* The wifi download works very slow.


These topics are the ones that worry me the most, the GPS I give for lost....

I asked the same question, just one reply on moving the magnet out of the cover.

Well the solution I applied is:


Use a special explorer like Solid Explorer or Root Explorer.

Go to system/app/suspendwindow and remove the permissions from suspendwindow.apk then reboot.   (Navigate to the correct path. Long press on the selected file, and you'll see a tab for permissions)


Restore the permissions if you want to use s view again.


Unfortunately, this also disables the wake screen/sleep screen via opening/closing cover.

I like my UMI great but version 7 does not work well. My problems encountered:
- the battery discharges quickly especially with the blutooth
- the fast charging does not work anymore, with a case to check, it goes from 5 to 7 to 12 volts and then back to 5 volts and so on.
- when the phone is switched on for more than 5 minutes, the upper part of the phone heats up and the battery discharges abnormally.
- the camera's problem is still not solved, the recorded picture is always too dark.
It is a shame that the UMI team does not work more on its drivers and firmware because I believe that the quality of the hardware is correct in view of the price of the phone.
I have not tested the gps because I do not use it ...
I think I will go back to Android 6 while waiting for UMI to resolve the problems of version 7.

Hello everybody out there!

I got a big problem and signt up on this Forum to tell you about.


17 Days now..... The "final release" runs 17 Days on my Umi Super now.
And what? the only known Bug is the missing Fast Charging? No no no.... thats not so easy Umi.
As not only me experiencing the fast Battery drain starting at about 50%, most users who stay on A7 have to charge there Phones nearly twice a Day.
And here comes the problem... My Battery has gotten a little bigger then it schould be! The Case is barely holding all the Parts together and the Display Unit is bending a little bit outside...
4 Weeks ago i replaced my Display Unit (thx to Umidigi / got it for free) and there was nothing strange with the Battery at this time... Today i opened it up again and the screws pop out like popcorn!
Since A7, i didn't used a quick charger and alltrough i know how to deal with a Battery ;)
I'm not sure how it's possible but it happend..... And i want to warn you all about that possibility to happen to yourself. So be carefull folks!


And now do anybody know how to get a replacement Battery?
