the same camera see examples of photos in the reviews on the phone, and do not justify the fact that this phone has a camera called Sony !!! MAXIMUM MADE IN CHINESE

I have this phone, I photographed in different conditions, at different iso, and different programs, photo is very bad, my Fly iq466, photographed ludshe, an 8 megapixel camera, I am satisfied with my purchase, just a shame that the promised sony and it is not clear that

These photos in this facebook thread are captured with a UMI Iron.

I really don't know what you expect from a phone camera if that quality is not just insufficient but awful in your opinion.

These are my 2 shots, too many noises. Well, it's true, maybe it should be, but if there is the camera on the Sony 214, it should not be.

conclude this discussion, thank you for your answers, I am satisfied with the phone, the camera is there really just crap.

Your examples are misleading. In the Xiaomi review the only one photo (the first one) captured under a little bit worse light conditions, almost has the same noise as the Iron photos that captured under even worse light conditions. Even the world's best camera is able to capture low quality photos under inappropriate conditions and in inexpert hands. Of course, in a dark environment the camera will set higher ISO values and longer shutter speeds, so your photos will be noisy and blurry almost regardless of the brand of your camera. You should just compare photos captured under the same conditions.

The camera is a Sony IMX214, or a OmniVision OV13850? In some reviews writing  is a OmniVision
Compass  sensor is too mising in reviews

Are the camera problems encountered using the Google Camera app or is it a third party app that comes as part of the Umi ROM?

Both - i've used both stock camera and another app, poor-average at best

I've got some serious problems with the camera too...
The autofocus si not working at all, all the photos are out of focus and using the Camera FV-5 it even say that it can't take picture because the Autofocus doesn't work...
On the other hand the flash is not well synchronised neither... You see the flash light and after like a second t takes the picture...
I was really happy with this phone but i bought it thinking i'm buying a nice sony sensor cam, but i see that again Umi lies about a device (had a hammer with false battery...) and it is the last time i buy  or recommand a Umi phone!!
