Actually, what is worring me now more is the wifi strength, in the attachment you can see the difference shown by the Signal Meter of "Wifi Analizer" application  between the Redmi2 and the Touch for the same Wifi AP, and same spot of my house.  I know is blurry but it can be seen properly than while the Redmi2 is nearly touching the line of -60dBm the  Umi Touch is in -85dBm..

After if somebody needs it I can try to do again the picture of the same test

can someone upload the fota upload file so i can flash from local?
wireless update just force closes ...

Same here, many people get crashes with NON rooted devices and no FOTA while it previously worked. So to UMI stop ignoring us and telling us we need to do a factory reset. There is clearly something different with this FOTA if you see the responses here varyin from reboot to crashes trying to update to corrupt files. Please fix this and either supply an updated package or indeed a file we can flash please!!

I already provided the solution HERE yesterday. You have to unmount the memory card and the update will be processed. That error message of the recovery contains false information. No problem with the update package. Later I will provide a guidance for noobs.

Solution doesnt work.
Tried unmounting sd and reformatting as external and internal.
Tried removing  completely or leaving in unformatted.
Tried updating on wifi and 3g
Systdm update just bounces back to settings page.
Trying with no network is the only thing that shows a message saying no network.
This is stock rom with no root or different recovery.

This solution works but you have a different problem. If you read the posts of other users, you could see that, they talked about the failure of the recovery when opening the update.zip file, they didn't get stuck at the beginning like you.
Your case is unique and I cannot reproduce it. Maybe that's caused by a running background app or a damaged cache content or anything else.
I suggest you to process a factory data reset and try again. If that doesn't help, you can flash the complete updated firmware with SP Flash Tool. I've already uploaded this newest version.

I also tried the solution of unmounting the sd although I only used it as external storage.
Did not work for me. A factory reset is a lot of work, with the customization I had to do for apps, screen sensitivity, work tools, etc. So I would really like to make sure that a reset helps and the rom is an improvement. I see here many problems which were no there with the previous FOTA's... Any other suggestions for the people where the update does not even show or download but when you click check fo updates, it just jumps back in the settings menu.
