Same problem for me, and for many user (simply go to other forum....)
Reject the problem is not the solution, it should instead take very seriously this issue because in the end it is Umi brand image that will suffer (I do not know if my next phone will be a Umi )

GPS work but sometime "jump" : this is an issue !
With Waze, position and speed is good and sometime ths GPS add or remove 10km/h for few seconds
The GPS is very accurate, but if you wait you will see latitude and longitude change and come back to good position

it's a bit tiring for a customer to be told that everything is normal and that everything works when there are things that do not work.

Just ignoring the problem is not nice.
Just Google on "MKT GPS problem'' give 161.000 hits!

My GPS works (pre-ordered phone), but the GPS also 'JUMPS' occasionally (more often than not), so for me and many many others here on this site it's unusable !

Just ordered my second Umi Touch (Gold) and the pre-order Umi Super (Grey), both with discount, I wonder if this GPS works properly.Does this GPS also not work properly, I swear, never again buy a Umi product without a decent quality control !!!

There is for the Umi Touch no decent quality control, because I openend my phone...
A loose small screw was in the phone, tighten this small screw makes no sense, because there is no screw-thread in this hole (metal strip on the flat cable) .
Another hole was empty, the worker forget a small screw !The Screen Protector with dust and junk was crooked on the iPhone !
Also nowhere to see any passed OK Quality Sticker, that says enough for me !

You are not ignored, of course. If it disturbs you that your GPS is not as precise as a Swiss clock or it's even significantly defective, you can request a replacement or a refund from your reseller. The developers are continuously polishing the software (as you know, already four updates has been released) but if your device is possibly defective in its hardware, then that cannot be guaranteed, it will ever be fixed by software patches.

Please consider that all those user with GPS problems are not fake right? I have the same issue, the concection with the satellite works but is not stable at all. Whe navigates with Google Maps or something similar you got gaps or jumps near your location, but its son far to call it stable. Is unusable completly believe me. Please study the GPS and find a fix soon a lot of people would you take good works in front of RFCs. Please consider to fix it ASAP

Hello i used the gps Today for the First Time after the ota update again but still its al over the place when u are in the City with navi by syqic. My God i got lost Today Because He is always calculating a new route.

Me too, GPS jumping every 3 seconds, not stable, so for me unusable (pre-order phone)!
Maybe only GPS problem in the pre-order batch?, who knows.

Umi has no solution, ignoring the problem and only showing a video that their Umi GPS is ok!

Because there is no proper quality control, we have bad luck.
I'm done with it, I send the phone back to the seller for a refund.

Mine is not from preorder. My UMI Touch was bought throught Gearbest 2 weeks ago. I hope you fix on the next update. Today I test again on the capital city of my region (rasonable better signal from Satelite) And the course on GPS navigation like google maps stop every 2 seconds everytime recalculating route or stopped the navigation. My GPS works it fix some satelites (tested with GPS Status app from Google Play), but in practice doesn't works at all, nothing, it's completly imposible navigate with. I use the phone for social networks and navigation, please fix it, find a solution and share with us but don't let us without response please.

My UMI touch was a preorder.  If some users have a problem and others do not then I doubt its a software problem.  The are links on these forums to a post about fixing a faulty GPS aerial connection but all those posts have been removed.  

So is it possible the problem is a fault GPS antenna or a faulty GPS chip in some phones.

Same with fingerprint.  Mine never works NEVER.  registers fingerprint OK but NEVER unlocks phone - I just turn it off.  Looks like bad hardware also as some people say the fingerprint scanner works OK.
