The install looped so I fallowed the flash instructions and it bricked my phone. Im getting no power when I plug in. My computer is no loner reading it. I press the power button for minutes and get no action.

Have just flashed my phone using SPFT and firmware from 2019090417_g38v71c2k_kw_f1.rar today. Now I have a constant overlay on the screen in top right hand corner. Two lines, writing in red, saying "TEE: <some Chinese characters> Google: <some Chinese characters>"

How do I remove these? Why have they appeared?

So what the hell am I supposed to do?
I don't want to waste my shitty time finding out how to fckn update A PHONE. Like wtf? Why can't you test properly before you release a corrupted update that requires me to go to your website and go through a fckn tutorial. No ffckn way i am going to that. Never gonna buy such garbage again. Back to OnePlus I guess. FUUUUUUUUUUU

Then you didn't strictly follow the instructions or flashed an incompatible ROM, for example an F1 Play ROM on F1 or vice versa. You should still be able to flash the compatible ROM on your phone.

Actually the issue happened on the FOTA server which is owned and managed by Adups, not by UMIDIGI, and every phone could get successfully updated in the test phase. If no one of the alternative update options are acceptable by you, you can just simply skip this update and wait for the next one.

I am sorry for my inappropriate comment. I understand now. It's just frustrating if Spotify crashes when trying to open the Song-options.

OTA update UMIDIGI_F1_V1.0_20190724_20190904-1638 fails on my Umidigi F1 phone. The current version is UMIDIGI_F1_V1.0_20190724_20190819-1000. I am not located in Europe. I have looked over the instructions here: https://community.umidigi.com/fo ... hread&tid=18876 and read a number of posts in this thread. Some users are bricking their phones and there is absolutely no way I am going to spend hours of a weekend  dicking around with my phone so that I can brick it
It is extremely poor of Umidigi to push an update that is absolutely broken, and then go on to leave the update being pushed for at least a week.

Umidigi, please pull the broken update so it stops nagging users to install it, and rather than push your customer base towards a set of instructions that is guaranteed to cause more harm than good, advise when a functioning update will be released
