Check the notify indicator if you have set it on...
Try Microsoft Launcher (you need to give it special permissions)

I am using Nova Launcher, fairly newbie friendly with lots of options. Works.
Copy/pasted the following from my own post at the ROM forum just so more people know they have other options to try:

I got this older Gcam APK working with the F1, don´t know if anyone wants to give it a try.

It´s for the Umidigi Z2 I believe but works on the F1.
