I know this is hard to heard, but none of the S2 Lite received or will receive Android 8. I have been also waiting and contacting the form officials, but they have said that the head office cancelled this update, this is also stated in other forms. The cancellation is most likely due to it being to costly to buy Android 8 licences, and a lot cheaper to introduce a new phone to consumers. Also do not expect a reply form the moderators on this form, as they have most likely abandoned it (as they have done with other forms), as this phone is old. If you have purchased your phone recently you can try asking for a partial refund, as they have misleadingly advertised this the S2 Lite will receive Android 8. I hope people will not buy Umidigi products in the future due to this misleading advertisements. |
