Hi, my umidigi wont charge with the original charger. It says its charging but i left for 2 hours an ...

Any type of PC can't supply high current flow too charge device. Maximum charging current which can by supply by PC is 0.5A. Standard chargers most time can supply up to 1.0A at 5V so you can try standard charge and test. Umidigi charger is supplying around 0.9A at 12V .
Please type in to calling dialler *#*#33#*#* then go to single test - battery and check charging voltage which should be around 12V or 5V at very low and very high battery charged level.
Also you can install 3c battery widget and check charging voltage.

Around 5v on the original charger. On PC too.

Please check USB cable and USB port in your device.
Also you can perform factory reset and check for updates if there is no physical fault.

Hi, unfortunately I can't fully understand your explanation.
I suspecting that your issues is excessive battery consumption. We don't have any reports about this type of issue. Please check all installed apps for excessive battery consumption.
If you are not sure what is happening you should restore your device to factory state. To do this you need go to settings - backup and reset - factory data reset. This process wipe whole data from phone.

Hi, My Umimdigi S2 wont charge! It's a brand new phone, and i'm using the wire from the box. It wont charge when the device is turned on, it wont charge if it is shut down with the cord in it, and it wont charge if i shut it down and then plug it in. in all instances it shows that it is charging but the battery percent isn't changing at all. the wire doesn't seem to be faulty. I'm wondering HOW to charge this device? does it need to be below 30% for it to charge or something? please help so I dont have to try to make a return on this device. Thanks.

Sometimes when I plug in my phone (Umi S2) to charge, it starts to play strange music, notifying me that it is overcharging. Anyone has similar experience?

There is no such features in phone to be indicating about overcharging etc.
I suspecting that you installed and incorrectly set some of apps.
If you are not sure what have you done incorrectly, please perform factory reset but this will delete whole user data.
