Switching from Wifi to Mobile Network does not work

Der Prozess startet sich doch von selbst wieder ...

Wenn ich den Prozess einmal erzwungenermaßen beendet habe, startet der Prozess nicht mehr. Das Verhalten, welches dein Handy hier zeigt löst bei meinem irgendwie nicht aus. Komische Teile sind das O_o

Hast du erst das WLAN aus gemacht und dann den Prozess gekillt? Oder während WLAN noch aktiv war?

I´ve got the WiFi -> mobile data problem too. Germany, T-Mobile.

Didn´t try to stop "SimProcessor" yet but will give it a try.

I have mentioned this already on another place, try this: Stop manually the System-App "SimProcessor" once.

After do this, the problem is gone for me (last 2 days). Maybe this must be done afeter every reboot.

Does not Work for me no matter if i try it with WLan on or off.
On my Z without plus i have to shut down Wlan and after that Reboot the Device.

Das hilft bei mir auch nicht egal ob ich das mit Wlan oder ohne Wlan mache.
Bei meinem Z ohne plus Hilft nach wie vor einzig und allein Wlan aus Gerät neu Booten.

Stopping "Sim Processor" process didn't help with the mobile data problem for my Umi Z. After the phone was connected to a WiFi network it will not connect to  mobile data.

Das Stoppen des "Sim Processor" Prozesses hilft bei meinem Umi Z nicht. Nachdem das Smartphone mit dem WLAN verbunden war verbindet es sich nicht mit den mobilen Daten.

Kann sein das man noch einmal den Flugmodus ein und ausschalten muss, hatte vieles aufeinmal probiert...

I was traveling to Berlin today by train which is a pretty far distance. I was on mobile data and never switched to wifi. Every 5-10 km my umi z could not connect to data anymore until i restarted the phone.
Its completly unusable and im so happy that my redmi note 4 was shipped yesterday so i can have a Smartphone that works hopefully soon. First and last umi smartphone

As Android 7 not supporting turbo download as Android 6 Google decide to deactivate mobile data when your phone have access to WiFi but mobile data is coming back straight after be out the WiFi range. Also this is saving mobile data limits and battery as WiFi is taking less battery than mobile data. I would recommend you to go to WiFi settings and deactivate network notifications as this option searching constantly for new connection.

you can also try to activate in the development settings: keep mobile data connection always on ---> test it.
that will keep always mobile connection alive, for faster switching between WIFI and mobile connection.

So, i tested now.
When leaving my WIFI area --> mobile data is working.
when switching OFF WIFI --> mobile data is NOT working
--> switching the SIMs with mobile Data --> mobile data is not working
--> trying then to go to flightmode --> it is like freezing...SIMs still active but no setting can be changed, also turning aff again the flight mode --> is not possible.
--> only a reboot is resolving the issue!

AFTER reboot is switching SIMs possible, if the WIFI wasn't connected once. --> not always....

seems a Nougat issue combination with WIFI and SIMs...

Beside that:
i performed a factory reset and also flashed over the tool --> same
