¡Thread to report problems with Android 7.1.1!

In Spain there are many owners of umidigi z pro with the same problem of connection 4g,

when we leave a network wifi, mobile data are not connected neither 3g nor 4g, only solved by rebooting the terminal,

it is a shame to have these problems,

I beg you to give us an early solution.

Yes, I'm having the same issues. Battery drains about 20% faster as on android 6 and there is no notification below 15%. The only notification I get is when it shuts down
I noticed a battery drop of 45% in 1 hour just now. I was using some apps but no battery eaters like games or so. It went from 100% at 7am to 45% at 4pm and then from 45% to 0

BT, Wifi, 4g...all seem to be working fine. Haven't noticed any issues.

BTW I had the same issue as many others with the OTA update to 7.1.1...Downloaded succesfully, unzipped ok but then failed the install. Eventualy I just downloaded the zip to SD card and installed from there...that worked fine. I wish it hadn't though because now I cannot use the phone for a whole day or have to charge it somewhere during the day.

same problem here in germany. IMEI is correct and a factory reset didn't help.
This is urgent and REALLY annoying.

So I noticed some other "known" issues on my Z Pro 7.1.1

• Battery drains much faster as on android 6. I can't even use it for a whole day with normal usage.
• No battery warning under 15% battery life left.
• Today I noticed the Wifi not working as many other users reported. Switching off/on Wifi did not help. I just keeps searching networks. Only a reboot resolved the issue.
  

Please UmiDigi comment on these issues and report an ETA for fixing this!

Good that I stayed with Android 6.
Because the Z Pro is not my first smartphone of this brand,
I'm always careful with updates and wait for the first time.

Hey UMIDIGI, stop the development of new devices as long as the already sold devices still have so many problems.

Have you ever tried to understand how you feel as a UMIDIGI customer.
Great promises are made and with super specifications you apply your devices.
Then the customer gets his device and determines that some works not as it was described by you.
Instead of fixing these errors quickly, you are already developing the next device and making a lot of advertising in advance.
As a customer, I feel left alone and in part lied and fooled.
Take a little time and think about it.

Just posted the issues and noticed some posts for the Z about expanding batteries. Now I did have battery issues and my on/off button did not work nicely anymore. Got the phone out off the flip case.....

This is like the worst case scenario for me... Can't use my phone anymore and can't be without it.

In addition I cannot get my sim card and sd card out because of the battery expansion. If I open the phone I could but then warranty will be voided. Nice situation I'm in....pfft

For now, i dont have this kind of battery expassion. I make my self sure that i do not extremelly use device when charging and i dont let it charge overnight. But other than that, I wonder why theres no rom files for the gemini pro. The only one you find its a beta of 6.0 wich I tried and has way better results than the 7.1.1 or the 6.0 from UMIDIGI. Only thing is theres a lockscreen bug wich randomly shows a black or white screen while unlocking. But sometimes it unlocks normally. Can anyone find someone to give us the files for Gemini Pro? At least we try to make use of something from another brand as ours does not give a damn about it.

All our problems will be solved if they release the source code, this would be a great change. Since the "M.A.D" team will develop their "madOS" in our Z PRO .. (I always comment this from my own personal experience with your "madOS" android 7.1.2 in my Vernee Thor) we must thank that team a lot! They really do a great job, better than many "big" companies ..
