Same problem here. I have contacted already the seller-GEARBEST- and they will repair/replace the phone. So i decided to send it back even if it costs time and more money(shipping costs). I have bought three umi phones(max, plus e,z pro)  all with construction problems. Dispite the excellent service and communication, the construction of their devices aren't as it should be. Is understandable that some faillures can be happened but in this case are to many.
So UMI has to improve immediatelly.
Thanks and hope UMI is listening to its customers.

How can you still using phone and waiting for battery burn????
In this case you can lose warranty.
You should immediately stop using phone to prevent of further damage.
Please contact to seller and also you can try read this thread and follow warranty procedure for umi Z battery failure and contact with full explanation with pictures etc.

Anyone have experience how long it take ...

As far as anyone knows there are NO replacement batteries available. Not from the UMI's replacement program (see Replacement program topic) and not from any shop or aliexpress. The replacement program seems to be a "no-reply" emailaddress because no one is getting a reply. All the shops are either dumping the Umi Z and Z Pro or they've already been removed from the shop.

For the way you've bought the phone (second hand)...You don't have any warranty with a shop or with the guy you bought it from. You now know why he sold it.... You can try the replacement program here but don't keep your hopes up in getting a new battery or even a reply to your email.

No, not yet but did just now finaly get a reply after 11 days. Not sure if battery is actualy send but it's a start.

Whatever you do, do not use the phone anymore. Let the battery drain to 0%, disassemble the phone using the 2 screws on the bottom. You can leave it like that or remove the battery also with the 3 screws above the battery. The battery has a small connector you need to disconnect..also remove the small plate holding the battery. See here for more ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05utEU6FbNU

DO NOT punch holes in the battery as the guy in the youtube movie claims to have done. Gasses released are toxic!

Edited by serghino at 2017-7-6 06:30 \n\nNo pm needed. You will get a reply eventualy but won't like the answer. Umi is probably unable to ship the battery because no transporter will.

for me it´s not problem to pay the cost of shipping, the most important for me is that my phone is working normally again.
Anyone knows is there any replacement for this phone. I don´t know perhaps from Samung or huawei or something known smarphones?

I can not throw the whole Z pro in a dustbin becouse of this fucking battery...

Have found a solution here:

http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11631-12-1.html

If I install the battery from Z pro can I use the original charger from Z Pro or it´s better to take anoter charger what doesn´t support fast charging?
