Dear Users,

The developers say that, the motherboard of UMi Plus E is not compatible with Anodroid  ...

Umi plus e has the same spec's as umi plus except for processor and ram.already umi plus has 7 and also other phone like blackview pro 8000 has the same processor and ram and also has 7
so which part isn't compatible.

according to download in blackview page...there is no need for downland as this is 7 out of the box.

Even some major parts of the two models (the camera modules for example) are different, not talking about many other, not published parts, that you can't know whether they're the same or different. So that's what I'm trying to discover, what exactly causes the compatibility issue. Currently I don't know.
A downloadable ROM would be needed to analyze its components. A Marshmallow ROM can be easily faked to pretend a Nougat ROM.

bencebacsi,
This is simply just not acceptable. Either your colleague are fooling you, or you are fooling us, from the very beginning.
Heve you (or the developpers) all of a sudden realised that this device was not compatible ?
This is just not professional.

Such a complaint would be effective in the USA or Europe, but not in China. The Chinese do what they want.

Comments

Neither in the USA or Europe since a such complaint wouldn't have an acceptable basis in this case.  Post time 2017-6-20 10:01

Dear Users,
It seems I have to repeat myself for the 100th times again.
1. UMi Plus E was never advertised with installed or future Android 7.0 system from the day of its release date, when you were already able to buy or pre-order it, at least not on official UMi sites, that are or were controlled by the company.
2. UMi has always been and is still committed to release an Android 7 upgrade for the Plus E (it's our interest as well) but that is not possible due to hardware restrictions. It's not up to UMI, MediaTek and other hardware manufacturers are also involved. That's quite pointless to claim, that upgrade is already possible since you as an end-user don't know that and no, it's still not possible.

1) On the UMI website in the pre-order page it was stated that it would receive 7.0 update later, not that it would come already installed.Of course I don't have screenshots of that, but if multiple people states that, me included, it means that IT WAS ADVERTISED.
If it was removed after the launch that's still a trustworthy issue, since most pre-ordered it base on promises that were later removed from your website.

It's either a MASSIVE COLLECTIVE BRAINWASH, that all of us were just mistaken, or UMI is simply LYING to you or through you.
Same as when it was sponsored of the UMIDIGI Crystal with Snapdragon 835. What happened to that? ;)

I love your phones, but this company makes too many promises and advertisements that DO NOT KEEP.
In the customer relations sector you CANNOT make promises or advertisements you won't keep, otherwise you will just lose customers.

Just say:
WE'RE SORRY BUT WE CANNOT DELIVER IT AS ADVERTISED, so we give 50$ off on any of our phones to everyone who purchased an Umi Plus E.
That's how you do good customer relationship.
