I'm in the making of making a custom rom for Nougat 7. Since i only can use the stock kernel don't be to hyped about it but one thing i can assure you guys is that it will not have unstable quick charge and battery drain.

I haven't managed to get it to boot yet on my build i made but give me a few days, maximum a week and it will be posted on XDA.

Wow. That would be nice of you. Too bad the kernel sources aren't available. It would be just good business to do that. AFAIK mediatek does release the source code to umidigi( otherwise they couldn't make it work but this just my logic at play).

It would be great if it could be installed through flashtool, because unfortunately in my phone I can not start it in the TWRP recovery .... only the original works
