It's a 7.1.1 ROM for the Z Pro here, so I don't really understand your question. Do you mean Z1 Pr ...

No!
To Umidigi Z Pro!

mateechu wants to know if there are intentions to launch news updates to 6.0 and 7.1.1!

Ben really, bad management, instead of admitting the software problems that have this mobile only avoid answering the truth, as the unit that you use is the only one that goes well, the rest of users all the problems we have we invent no? Say that you do not feel like updating it and you are, stop giving long, in addition you answer "what problems do you think" ??? I can not think of the problems that have a z pro, they are there and they are real. You give shame as a support.

Maybe i know the problem for the high battery drain.
I recognized it for a few times. Yesterday i was in a supermarket where i've never been before. My Wifi was disabled and i just used the mobile data connection. When i was at home i turned on the Wifi it says that there was "Free Wifi" of this supermarket ( my home is 10km away, so this is not possible) and disappered after the Wifi searched for new connections.
That happened at local stores, airports etc.

This means that when i'm on the run the Wifi actually is not turned off even thow i disabled it completly. So it's searching for networks all the time.

Could anyone reproduce this?

Wireless issue is same on 6.0 and 7.1.1

Edited by speedycvc at 2017-10-9 02:13 \n\nWireless issue is same on 6.0 and 7.1.1
screen and CPU gorvernor are really bad and generate battery drain.
I use DS battery saver to get more power.
with DS battery saver => 2 days of use
with original rom governor => 15 hours of use

Wireless enabled => fast charge doesn't work
Wireless disabled => fast charge work

Any release have same issue :
Camera bad capture ( noisy pictures )
Wireless is really drain full
Compass is not accurate
ghost touch screen => sometimes screen go crazy and open notification bar
may be more issues...

This phone have a really good hardware, but ROM is not really working good.
I used a lot of chinese phones since 5 years and umi (umidigi) have to recruit real dev to do better work.

I hope that Umi will be a wonder brand but if UMI create 5 phones by years... how can they do good work on any ROM and do real ROM support.

Hello

I have Z pro and yesterday i also went from 6.0 ( V4.01 ) to 7.1.1 and its really frustating! Camera quality dropped like going from BMW to bisycle. Pictures are like from year 2003.
Also very poor 4g and GPS ( Waze is working really bad ). Everything else is ok, but what the point without normal camera and GPS...

Think im also going back to android 6. What is the most stable version at the moment ( including good camera and GPS/4g )?

Also when going back to android 6, i still just flash it with flash tool or i need to format something?

Phone itself is actually very good, but as mentioned before, software is BS and its really disapointing that developers to not care from customers.

After a few months, I just dropped back to v 6.0... Mainly due to battery drain.

Flashed using SPFT.. Wiped everything, installed fresh ROM. Available on the ROM forum.
Link here..v0408

http://community.umidigi.com/thread-7333-1-1.html

But I flashed using SPFT latest version from here since it's installed..

I'm not responsible for bricks... Do at your own risk. Please back up data before doing this as it will wipe all user data..
