Hello!
I have the Android 7 and I want to downgrade to Android 6 (20161017). I dont have root, twrp or anything, just the simple thing.

Using the SPFT:
1. Should I choose "Download only" or "Firmware upgrade"? (Format all loose the imei, right?)
2. Should I tick or untick the option "preloader"? I read it can brick the phone... But some tutorial says that it's necessary to tick it.

I tried to find a clear answer but I didnt. Im new with this thing so I dont wanna brick my phone, lol.

Format All if you want to downgrade. IMEI (write down IMEI before downgrading) needs to be written back, see link below:

It can be in the "Firmware Update" and IMEI must not be removed.

Really ? On V7 I can see both IMEI. To downgrade I need to do it ? What for ?

ofc. you need to retrick the IMEI if you tell spflashtool to delete everything. some people seem to like it complicated
