And do you have enabled contacts and calendar syncing in Settings --> Accounts --> Google?
It should work without any further settings.

Yes. https://ibb.co/fDk7Fy
In this menu there is several line with the circle meaning several services not sync, waiting to be. When I push setting/sync now  everything get sync but contact don't, as you can see on the picture
Even in the app I can't sync it.

According to the date, your contacts are synced. Check your contacts on https://contacts.google.com/

Your contacts sync date is still just one day older. Can you see your contacts not newer then one day in your contacts list on your phone? If yes, then it's rather a Google glitch then a bug in your phone.

Ok maybe, It's just not reassuring to know that someday calendar or contacts can be outdated even one day or two.

Hi,

I am using the unofficial basic firmware and it is almost perfect, well at least much better with the official one, very stable and does not drain the battery much.  I only have one small problem with it. Sometimes after I run some applications (for example Google Maps) a screen saver shows up with an analog clock and umidigi logo. That happens even during using the phone, i.e. touching the screen. I need to press the home button so it dissapears then I can go back to the application I was using by long-pressing the home button. That does not happen each time and only with some apps but it is a bit confusing. Does anyone have a clue on how to disable this screensaver? I have Screen Saver setting set to off in the Display settings, but this is something else.
Regards.
