Edited by holzi1991 at 2015-11-2 07:36 \n\nThe Emax has a 6752 and not the 6572.
Edit: While googling I found this on the xda forum:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2650513ook

Blu's kernel sources were leaked and according to this thread

http://forum.xda-developers.com/ ... kedmtk65xx-t3195957

there should be some mtk6752 sources in there too. I already tried my luck. I was able to connect to the mentioned ftp server but I couldn't find any phone with a MTK6752 on the server or on the page of Blu.

Edit2: I found this

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/ ... /downloads/DS102637

and this

http://forum.xda-developers.com/ ... 341150&postcount=10

According to the pages and xda these are packages for the source code of MTK6752 smart phones.

If they didnt finish lollipop update, its 100% sure that they wont do marshmallow.... and Im feeling so scammed, they announced that Lollipop would be in August, we are in November. Seriously dudes, stop laughing at us!!

Are you really still working on this update or not?!?!? If you left it just say it, is better to know that than just wait for something that will never come!

As far as I know, the developers are still working on it. I ask about it about once a week and they never said that "we've given it up". A marshmallow upgrade is also possible, according to the news leaked by MediaTek.
This YouTube video was publicated two weeks ago.

Can we expect a Marshmallow update faster than the Lollipop? ... If MediaTek is preparing the upgrade...

Nice! Thank you for the update, they should make the video more visible, I couldn't find it, they could put that as a new in their facebook page

Well, that gives us some hope
Anyway, I don't think they will release Marshmallow, even though I'd love it!

The latency of the lollipop upgrade is caused by the lack of needed kernel source code. If mediatek will really provide the marshmallow source codes, the job can be done quickly... theoretically.

Mediatek probably will provide the source code for a fee, which Umi is not willing to pay unfortunately. Well, by that time I guess they will have released 10-20 new phone models already and tell us to buy one of them.
