Many problems in the new Android 7 update with WiFi and sometimes with cellular data, a restart help for some minutes, not longer.
WiFi is not to every time unstable - ist look like a protocol problem, the phone shows a stable connection to the router but w/o internet, but other devices have full internet connection. access to the router is in this moment also not possible (router login)
I'm still waiting for the next update of Android 7, under Android 6 runs the phone perfectly ... I regret to take the update...

Hi,
Your issue is surely not related to the Android 7 upgrade. Your phone probably shares the same MAC address with an other device connected to the same Wi-Fi router, and that case causes a conflict. Try to find that other device and turn it off for test purpose. If needed, you can change the MAC address of your UMi phone with the  SN Writer Tool.

Hi bencebacsi
Is the Mac Address of my Super changed with the Android 7 Upgrade?
The problem is new, not happend bevor upgrade.
Otherwise is it possible that the router find a new device (Super after Upgrade) and cannot recognize that is the same device that found before (Super bevor upgrade)?

Okay I will delete all unused addresses in the router software, and look what happend.

To the data connection lost over mobile data:
the problem seems to be solved, after change the mobila data SIM, and change back to first SIM.
now stable data connection for many hours...

Yes, not unconditionally but the MAC address can be changed by a version upgrade. It also happened in earlier updates but those MAC addresses simply didn't cause a conflict at you. The Wi-Fi router identifies the connected devices by their MAC addresses.

Hi bencebacsi,
The problem with the unstable data connection on cellular data ist not solved.
I must daily deactivate and reactivate the SIM card for cellular data - this is not fine.
before deactivation the 3G w/o the higher 3G symbol (and no cellurar data) after reactivation 3G with small higher 3G symbol.
but why?

with best regards from Germany

O Meu Umi Super dá erro a descompactar.  Será que esta nova actualização resolve os erros?

Battery drain has actually been resolved. At least the non Bluetooth related. Can't say for battery drain on smart watches since i don't use one.  Post time 2017-3-17 21:24
I dare say it solves none of the major reported problems. Just minor tweaks, basically. Read the change log here: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-6967-1-1.html  Post time 2017-3-17 19:47

Hi bencebacsi
The problem with unstable WiFi connection is not a problem of double Mac Address.
I can see the Mac addresses of all devices that my router is connected.
see picture:
its conspicuously that the UMI Super have a significant lower data rate than the other connected devices.
But it cannot be a problem of Android 7, because the HTC one from my wife has also Android 7 as OS.
The connection ist after reconnect stable for some minutes, and than ist shown as connected but no data will be received.
And the browser said "You are offline".
I have also asked AVM as producer of my FritzBox for a solution.
best regards
Pitty

The WIFI link speed from the UMI Super hotspot is 65Mbps on my connection devices.
