Many problems with my Umi Super, can I do something about them or change phone?

You need to be lucky with phone...
before umi super i had a sony.....worked for 3 months and then rebooted etc...send to repair after 3 months of trying .
after repaired still random reboots all the time,send again to repair and finally after 3 weeks got a new one from sony.
then gave it away because in the meanwhile i bought the super.
my super is running fine for over one year.all works gps,camera,wifi,fingerprint...
tried all custom roms and now on latest 7.0 without too much problems.
battery charges in about 2 hours..2 days standbye time with over 6 hours screen on time..
not the same as in eragon rom with 3-4 days standbye and 8 hours screen on time.
camera is making good snapshots when decent light.
off course i cannot compare this 200 $ phone with my wifes 600$ samsung....

I agree with you, but quality of many material are really bad. Is really easy to broke. Plus many software and hardware problems. I bought 3 umi super and the three are dead. (All for different reasons)

Hey sorry for my late reply. I had to put my phone issues on hold for a while but now I can finally look into it again.

So I'm trying now these alternative solutions to update my phone.

I just tryied now the OTA update (without the SD card) and when trying to do the update the message just says "Pasting..." and nothing happens, just like it said "Reboot..." before with the FOTA method.

So I guess I'm trying the SPFT method now, I've never done it, I'm a bit worried I fuck it up.
