Same problem, it's air under the sides of the tempered glass because of the curvature, anyone had any luck with other tempered glass?
I'm not sure though if it is necessary to have tempered glass, i've had it on several phones before, that's why i wanted on the Umi, but i'm not sure how mutch scratch resistant the phone is, i always keep it inside a flipcase in my pocket anyway.

It's overall bigger than the tempered glass one that came with the bundle. This one at least covers the complete display. It's a softer version of the usual hard tempered glass.

Are there any update becouse of the protector? I see this about from "chooks06" is also not in 100% without air between protector and screen.

The nano film type is very flexible. Just like applying the thin film type. Need to push out the bubbles. I had some dust hence couldn't push all out. When I next change it I'll use a sucker to hold it. It should sit like hard glass protector.
The nano protector very prone to scratches though not very obvious.

I use this BROTECT AirGlass Flexible Glass Protector from Amazon. Not perfect but the best IMO.
Figured if it was flexible would fit the curve better.
My findings, First used on My Umi Super which worked, fitted the glass and was virtually no bubble around any edge (slightly at top and bottom may be millimetre or less) I firmly pressed all round edges when applied for about a minute. it never pealed or became worse over time.
My friend also got one for his Super but there was about a 1mm all away round his.
Got one for My Z Pro(I Have 2 Z Pro's), but was surprised when it arrived it was already slightly curved in the post. (curving away from the screen, Thought that not good) The Super that came last year was totally flat. Anyway when fitted was realy good, took a bit longer rubbing around edges to seal it down nice. There was and still is about 1mm top and bottom so didn't look as good as on my Super. But found when phone got warm when charging or with use or sometime when taken out of pocket it had liffted around all edges and especially around the fingerprint sensor and ear speaker/Camera areas, about 2mm/3mm's. Most of the time though it does seal back down to virtually no bubble and look ok.

For my second Z Pro the protector arrived in post slightly curved towards the screen at the edges, So I thought that may fit better this time, But no it has about 2mm bubble at top and bottom. they are not very sticky these screen protectors are they.
The other good thing about these protectors is that they have off cuts pieces where the home button is so I used that to protect the main camera dual lens. Was looking at buying camera protector lens too from aliexpress then the thought of this hit me, I had to go through my bin to get it back though lol.

The protector looks good and I think the cutout may be a wee bit to small for the camera cover (but esentially it raises it up so would not allow scratches to the lens cover).

Just to share my honest option..No offence meant..

The Z Pro has the 2.5D thingy..and most 9H glass protectors would be "way smaller than the actual display". But I personally like the cutouts on this protector..that's what I'm looking for.

The 2.50D thingy means the glass on the phone (along with the display) is not totally flat. If the protector is "pre-curved", fine. If not, also no biggie actually, but it means the whole screen, as we see it, can't be totally covered.

I believe hard glass protectors can't do that. Soft film can..But the new "nano film" protectors also apparently can't make it (plus, they're very prone to surface scratches).

Just my opinion.
Edit..Just checked..USD15 for this item compared to less than USD5 for a "lesser" alternative, I'll go for the cheaper ones. My rationale is simply that, with whatever protector I install, the original glass will suffer impact if I happen to drop the phone flat on its face - and if the protector doesn't break, what does? Need to complement whatever protectors with a good case, which is hard to find. See other threads regarding Z Pro cases. But, I still like the look of this protector - nice cutouts!

I have not yet discovered a suitable screen protector.
It is annoying when the glass protector is too small.
